Already in the 2nd generation the family run business is continued. Comfort & Innovation was founded by Rui's father. Today he and his sister work in the company. She is a designer, Rui is our contact person for the implementation of our products.
The company has specialised in home textiles and produces high-quality fabrics made of Egyptian cotton and linen itself.
For us it was clear quite quickly: underwear alone will not be enough and so we started looking for a producer for home textiles in Portugal.
In Comfort & Innovations we have found a reliable partner who produces high-quality fabrics and processes them into bed linen and dish towels for us. European linen and cotton (kbA) is used for this purpose. Our percale cotton bed linen, for example, is particularly fine-threaded and densely woven, which makes it particularly breathable and easy to care for.
Similar to cotton or hemp, linen belongs to the vegetable natural fibres. Linen fabrics are finely woven, of very high quality, strong and durable. The smooth fibres with a slightly natural shine enclose little air, which makes the fabric virtually lint-free and dirt-repellent.
