Q-NOVA® - Delicate lace from recycled yarns

Q-NOVA® by Fulgar is an environmentally friendly, mechanically produced fibre made from recycled Nylon 6.6.

What is Q-NOVA® and what qualities does it have?

Q-NOVA® by Fulgar is a mechanically produced fiber and consists of more than 50% recycled nylon 6.6, using scraps from Fulgar's main in-house production that would otherwise end up in the trash. This way, however, they form the basis for our beautiful lace. By the way, this lace is certified with the GRS (Global Recycling Standard) seal, EU Ecolabel and OEKO-TEX Standard 100..

Q-NOVA® is characterized by a silky soft and pleasant material surface, which is perfectly suited for our lace underwear due to its slight stretch. Q-NOVA® is also breathable and optimally regulates moisture, which guarantees skin that is always dry.

Sustainability

How sustainable is Q-NOVA®?

According to Fulgar, the mechanical and innovative regeneration process, in which the waste material is melted down, regenerated and returned to polymer form, requires less water and produces fewer emissions than the production of conventional nylon. The entire Q-NOVA® cycle, from raw material to production process, is subject to strict controls by Fulgar Italy..

The right care for Q-NOVA®

Washing

It is best to wash your fine lace underwear no hotter than 40°C with a delicate detergent in the laundry bag on a gentle cycle (i.e. no more than 600 rotations).

Drying

We recommend that you dry your laundry with lace on a line in the fresh air rather than in a tumble dryer. The material is protected and you will be able to enjoy your favourite pieces for a long time.

Tip: When you hang your clothes on the line, they dry best in the wind - and not in (strong) sunlight, as you might expect. Therefore, always make sure there is a good draft of air, then your laundry will dry especially quickly. In addition, the wind ensures that wrinkles are smoothed out. The sun acts as a natural bleaching agent for white cotton textiles, but if you are drying color-sensitive garments, protect them from too much sunlight.

Ironing

Ironing is not really necessary for lace lingerie. If you do need to use an iron, choose a low temperature so as not to damage the material.
