For quite some time, we’ve been searching for a way to take back your worn erlich clothing and home textiles. Our goal was to focus on circular solutions like textile reuse and recycling—and now, we’ve made it happen!
Over six months in 2022, we tested a Take-Back Pilot Project in collaboration with I:Collect to see if you would use such a service and how satisfied you’d be with its design.
On January 31, 2023, the pilot phase officially ended—but the Take-Back System is here to stay! Thanks to your positive feedback, we’ve decided to continue accepting your used erlich products. As of February 1, 2023, our partnership with SOEX/I:Collect seamlessly continues, meaning that ever since then, you can send us your old erlich favorites twice a year free of charge!
For those of you interested in the details: During the six-month test phase, we received a total of 23 returns. While that number may seem low at first glance, it actually aligns with our goal of creating long-lasting, timeless products. Most importantly, we were able to save 62 kg of old textiles from landfill and incineration—an achievement we’re truly proud of!
