With this goal in mind, Sarah and Benjamin founded the label erlich textil in 2016.

“Feel better” refers not only to a pleasant feel when wearing, but also to the materials we choose and name, to production in Portugal, Türkiye, Hungary and Germany at production sites recorded in Retraced, and to the plain, timeless designs. Because what doesn't go out of fashion stays. We pay particular attention to how the materials feel, because erlich textiles sit directly on the skin. erlich textil: touches you.

To actively drive change in the clothing industry, the items are also offered at prices that are as affordable as possible and are accessible to a wide audience through the online shop.

Today we are a team of 7 people working every day to make underwear and bed linen we can stand behind.

Fast fashion, overconsumption, rapid collection changes: all of this takes a toll on our planet and pushes it to the limits of what it can bear. On top of that come inhumane working conditions, opaque supply chains, extremely high chemical use in production, long transport routes and so on. The list of problems is endless.



Our aim is therefore to question things and then do them better. We are far from perfect. In concrete terms, that means: we choose our materials and name them, we manufacture in Portugal, Türkiye, Hungary and Germany at production sites recorded in Retraced, and we keep transport routes short. Our products are detached from short-lived trends.
