We got in touch with the Alec Group through founding friends – and stayed there. The group, which consists of several companies, has been around since 1981 and can therefore offer a wide range of services – from its own knitting mill to seamless technology, to the actual production, i.e. from pattern development to cutting and sewing, to packaging the finished product. That's how I like it: shared contacts that lead to new partnerships!
Since 2025, the Alec Group has been producing our Light Touch Basic Staples lounge and nightwear for us. They are the successor collection to our all-time favourites Regina (roll-neck long-sleeve top), Martha (round-neck long-sleeve top) and co. All items currently produced for us by the Alec Group are made from Lenzing Tencel Lyocell. A smooth, fine yarn which, in combination with a small amount of elastane, ensures high wearing comfort and an ultra-pleasant feeling on the skin.
Modal is made from beech wood cellulose and is known for its silky-soft feel. Not all manufacturing processes are equally sustainable – that's why we rely on TENCEL™ Modal with Eco Clean technology. This process uses oxygen-based chemistry instead of conventional bleaches and is significantly more environmentally friendly.
