We came into contact with the Alec Group through founder friends, and stayed right away. The group has existed since 1981 and consists of several companies, which allows it to offer a wide range of services: from its own knitting mill and seamless technology to production itself, i.e. from pattern development through cutting and sewing to packing the finished product. That's just how I like it: shared contacts that lead to new partnerships!
Since 2025, the Alec Group has been producing our Light Touch Basic Staples lounge and nightwear for us. They are the successor collection to our all-time favourites Regina (roll-neck long-sleeve top), Martha (crew-neck long-sleeve top) and co. All items the Alec Group currently produces for us are made from lyocell: a smooth, fine yarn that, combined with a small share of elastane, feels pleasant on the skin.
Lyocell is a cellulose fibre made from wood. The yarn is smooth and fine.
